Alleged mastermind involved in Hung Hom gold heist charged with theft

The suspected mastermind in a gold heist in Hung Hom has been charged with one count of theft. The case was adjourned for further trial.
The 37-year-old defendant has been charged with stealing about 65 kilograms of gold bars, bricks and powders worth more than 54 million dollars at a gold workshop in Hok Yuen Street East on September 17th.
The case was mentioned at the Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts. The trial was adjourned until September 29th.
