Hong Kong recorded two new cases of chikungunya fever.
The Centre for Health Protection, or CHP, said the first case involves a 62-year-old female living in Kowloon City.
An initial investigation revealed that she was in Foshan, Guangdong alone from late August to mid September.
The other patient is a man aged 26 who resides in the Central and Western district.
He visited Guangzhou between September 12 and 17.
So far this year, Hong Kong has logged a total of 21 chikungunya-fever cases, all of them imported.
