Thai security forces clashed with protesters from Cambodia on Wednesday in a disputed border area, threatening a fragile truce reached in July after five days of armed combat.

Official statements from Cambodia said 28 people were injured. Thailand's military said some Thai officials sustained injuries.
Thai police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at Cambodian civilians, saying they were acting in response to provocation.
Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Manet has sent out letters to world leaders, including China and the ASEAN bloc, seeking support.
He wants help in stopping what he described as Thailand's unilateral actions that risk escalating tensions and widening the conflict.
