Chinese regulators said U.S. chipmaker Nvidia has breached anti-monopoly laws and pledged to carry out further investigation.

It comes as chips, including those made by Nvidia, are among the topics of the ongoing China-U.S. trade talks in Madrid.

Beijing also said a preliminary probe found the company failed to comply with conditions attached to its acquisition of Israeli network and data transmission company Mellanox Technologies.

No punishment was mentioned in the statement by the State Administration for Market Regulation.

Separately, the foreign ministry said it discussed export licensing for Chinese rare earth related products to Poland.

Both sides are willing to encourage companies to work together in promoting the electric vehicle industry as well as compliant trade in dual-use items.

A deal was signed on poultry export to facilitate the access of Polish agricultural and food products.
