45-year-old technician dies in electrocution accident

A fatal work accident happened in a primary school in Fanling, where a 45-year-old technician was suspected of being electrocuted while doing repair work.
The accident occured in Alliance Primary School, Sheung Shui.
The police received a report at 11 a.m. that the deceased was found unconscious while repairing the school's air-conditioning facilities.
The worker was rushed to the North District Hospital where he was pronounced dead at around noon.
The Labour Department is investigating the cause of the incident.
