A female worker fell from a height while trimming trees at the Lok Fu Recreation Ground.
She was found unconscious and sent to hospital for treatment.
The 53-year-old victim was employed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
She was bleeding from her ears after the fall, and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Police received a report at around 4 p.m. after a woman fell from a ladder while trimming trees near a football pitch.
The case was classified as an industrial accident.
