Financial Secretary Paul Chan said at a forum that many innovation and technology companies have settled in Hong Kong in the past two years and the government welcomes more companies, talents and capital to come to Hong Kong.
Chan said: "Today Hong Kong is home to 4,700 startups and nearly 20 unicorns, many of which are nurtured and supported by our Science Park and the Cyberport. We continue to attract strategic enterprises from around the world. Over the past two years. More than 80 such enterprises have established presence in Hong Kong, investing over US$6.5 billion and creating some 20,000 quality jobs."
