The Hong Kong Airport Authority says approximately 100 flights were cancelled today.

Despite the disruptions, the authority expects the majority of the day's 800 scheduled flights to operate as planned, and normal flight operations to resume within the next two days, as the storm moves away from the region.

Several airlines reported operational adjustments, with Cathay Pacific cancelling 10 round-trip flights.

Hong Kong Airlines and HK Express cancelled one flight and five round-trips respectively.

The HKAA advises passengers to check with their airlines for the latest information and proceed to the airport only when their seats and flight times are confirmed.
