Flu vaccination to extend to people aged 18-49 with chronic medical conditions

The 2025/26 Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programmes will commence on September 25th.
Eligible groups will be extended to people aged 18 to 49 with chronic medical conditions.
Starting from 25th of this month, eligible participants will be able to get free influenza vaccinations at over a thousand venues, including the Department of Health's Maternal and Child Health Centres, District Health Centres and private clinics which participate in the scheme.
Meanwhile, some 2,300 schools have joined the outreach programme.
But 23 schools will not take part.
This year, schools may choose to use nasal vaccines or injectable influenza vaccines.
