Health authorities remind people to stay hygienic amid an influenza outbreak

An influenza A outbreak involving 48 students was recorded at Tai Po's Wong Shiu Chi Secondary School. The Centre for Health Protection also recorded two cases of severe paediatric influenza A infection.
The Centre for Health Protection said the Tai Po school had reported an influenza A outbreak on Thursday, involving seven classes.
While three students had to be hospitalised, they were all in a stable condition.
The two CHP-recorded cases involved a 10-year-old and an eight-year-old boy. Both patients developed symptoms, including fever and cough.
The centre reminds people to maintain good hygiene.
