With the Hong Kong government aiming to boost the "low-altitude economy", Our Hong Kong Foundation has released a research report on the topic.

The think tank forecasts the industry value added of the sector will reach 350 billion dollars in 2050, with the majority of value generated in supporting services.

The low-altitude economy is emerging as a high-growth industry in China.

Our Hong Kong Foundation advocates that Hong Kong should capture the cream of the crop by specialising in high value-added services, leveraging its repertoire of financial, legal and professional expertise.

The think tank also believes Hong Kong should prioritise the development of airspace management system that allows the authorities control of all flying activities.
