A think tank forecasts that by 2050, the added value of Hong Kong's low-altitude economy will reach HK$350 billion.

A research report published by the Our Hong Kong Foundation predicts that this added value will primarily come from supporting services. It argues that if low-altitude economy technology remains limited to scientific applications, its development potential will be limited.

It recommends that Hong Kong leverage its strengths in finance, law, and professional services to focus on developing high-value-added services. The report recommends that the government amend regulations and formulate a long-term policy roadmap to gradually increase the scale and complexity of low-altitude flight activities.
