Blazes burn through thousands of acres in California

Quick-moving blazes have raced through homes in California's Chinese Camp, a historic Gold Rush town, burning more than 13 thousand acres with no containment. 

The destruction came as wildfires erupted in multiple locations in the state during a spate of dry lightning strikes on Tuesday. NBC reports.
