China showcased its developing military might at a parade marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II on Wednesday.
The parade lasted about 90 minutes and included missiles, fighter jets and other military hardware.
And tanks and military vehicles were seen Wednesday morning along the Israeli border with Gaza. Israel has begun mobilising tens of thousands of reservists and repeated evacuation warnings as part of its plan to widen its offensive into Gaza City. (Sept 3)
