V-Day evening gala in Beijing featuring young actors and director

To commemorate the V-day anniversary, a grand evening gala was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing tonight.
President Xi Jinping joined veterans who fought at the war of resistance, and other guests at the event.
Also attending were Chief Executive John Lee, multiple Hong Kong principal officials, Convenor of the Executive Council Regina Ip, Legislative Council President Andrew Leung and Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal Andrew Cheung.
Themed "Justice Prevails," the evening gala, structured in five parts with seven song and dance performances centering on key historical moments that saw China as the main battlefield in the East during the World Anti-Fascist War while paying tribute to revolutionary martyrs in the war,
Notably, the show features multiple young actors born with the chief director born after 1980.
Many than half of the actors are born in the 2000s.
