A recall of Gillot camembert cheese earlier sold at City Super

The Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department urged the public not to consume a batch of prepackaged raw milk cheese imported from France over possible contamination with Shiga toxin-producing e.coli.
The France-manufactured camembert is imported by City Super from Gillot.
The150-gram pack size comes with a use-by date of September 4th.
The CFS received a notification from the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed of the European Commission about the need to recall the product. Hong Kong importer City Super has stopped removed the affected batch from shelves.
