HK held ceremony to commemorate 80th anniversary of victory in War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression

The Hong Kong SAR government held a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression this morning.
The ceremony took place at 8:00 a.m. at the Memorial Garden of City Hall in Central, when the National Anthem was played.
Acting Chief Executive Eric Chan and other senior officials attended the ceremony.
After the flag-raising ceremony, the Police Rifle Guard of Honour fired a salute.
All attendees bowed their heads in silence for two minutes.
In addition to government officials and Executive Council members, Secondary school students, uniformed groups, and representatives of youth groups, veterans groups and anti-Japanese fighters also attended the ceremony.
