A baby girl was found unconscious in an apartment in Sha Tin.
She was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police received a report at around 1 a.m. that a six-month-old girl was found unconscious by her parents at their home in Yu Chui Court.
There was bleeding from the baby's right ear and nose.
Paramedics rushed the baby to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police investigatons revealed no evidence of the deceased being crushed by something before her death.
Authorities are awaiting lab test results before determining the cause of death.
