TKO Hospital doctors who allegedly leaked patient information released on bail

Two doctors from Tseung Kwan O Hospital arrested on suspicion of unauthorised leakage of patient information have been released on bail, pending further investigation by the police.
A Tseung Kwan O Hospital representative said on Monday the hospital management received an internal complaint that some employees were suspected of accessing the Hospital Authority's clinical medical system.
They allegedly browsed patients' address and phone number and handed internal patient information to a third party without authorisation.
The hospital said a consultant doctor involved in the incident had resigned while an associate consultant doctor had been suspended from duty.
The pair will report to the police in late September.
