China unveils 4th batch of memorial sites in war against Japanese aggression

China has unveiled the fourth batch of national-level war memorial sites and relics in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
Four of the memorial sites announced so far are located in Hong Kong and Macao with most in the two SARs described as well-maintained.
In Beijing, officials announced at a press conference 34 new war memorial sites along with 41 heroic figures and two hero groups.
They join the previous three batches of 260 sites and over 1,000 heroes or hero groups nationwide.
Authorities say the relics bear witness to the determination of compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese against Japanese aggression.
