Police bust 2 drug warehouses in Kwai Chung

The police uncovered two drug storage warehouses in Kwai Chung and seized suspected ketamine worth about 20 million dollars. Two men were arrested.
The suspected ketamine seized during the operation were all packaged in sachets weighing 250g each.
The police intercepted a man outside a subdivided unit at an industrial building in Kwai Chung on Saturday afternoon. Officers then found 60 packs of suspected ketamine in the unit.
Another man were later arrested after police found 118 packages of the same drug in his subdivided unit in a nearby industrial building.
The pair, aged 23 and 30 years old respectively, report to be unemployed. Preliminary investigations revealed that they were lured by drug trafficking rings to take on the role of warehouse managers and drug deliverymen.
The duo have been charged with drug trafficking and will appear at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on Monday.
