A Filipino tourist died on Friday after boarding a Disney ride.
Sources say the man was a 10-year heart disease and high blood pressure patient and was on long-term medication. The deceased and his family visited Hong Kong Disneyland on Friday.
After boarding a light rail ride at "World of Frozen," the man suddenly fainted and fell unconscious.
The man's wife sought help from Disney staff, who performed emergency treatment on him. The man was sent to North Lantau Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
After inspecting the affected ride, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department confirmed the machine had no faults.
