Billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship completed the first-ever deployment of a test payload of dummy satellites into space on Tuesday.
The spacecraft blasted off from Starbase in South Texas.
It was the 10th test for the world's biggest rocket.
After just over an hour coasting through space, Starship splashed down as planned in the Indian Ocean.
The successful demo came after a year of mishaps.
Test flights in January, March and May this year all ended in failures.
The U.S. space agency NASA has ordered two Starships to land astronauts on the moon later this decade. Musk's ultimate goal is to use Starship to fly to Mars.
