2nd JoyYou Fest begins Thursday with discounts galore

Starting Thursday, Octopus Corporation will hold the second edition of the "JoyYou Fest" for two consecutive weeks, offering discounts from about 120 merchants -- doubling the number of participating businesses from last year.
Officiating the launch ceremony of the shopping jamboree was Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun, who says the number of JoyYou Card holders in Hong Kong exceeds 2 million, which offers huge consumption potential.
JoyYou Card holders can enjoy dining and shopping discounts at supermarkets and restaurants. They include a bargain price of 8 dollars for Chinese noodles at designated restaurants and a 1-dollar deal of chicken wings at designated markets.
In addition, some merchants offer a cash rebate of 8 dollars for every 100 dollars spent with JoyYou Card -- which can be collected through the Octopus App, designated MTR stations and Octopus service stations with a maximum rebate of 800 dollars per card. The quota is limited.
