Hong Kong reports two new imported cases of chikungunya fever, bringing the total infection tally this year to 11.
Both are now treated in hospital and are in stable condition.
The Centre for Health Protection says one case involves a 10-year-old boy living in Sha Tin.
He was bitten by mosquitoes during his visit to Foshan on August 16th.
He returned to Hong Kong on August 20th, and later developed a fever, rash and joint pain.
Another case is a 31-year-old woman who resides in Sham Shui Po.
She had been bitten by mosquitoes during her trip in Indonesia between August 8th and 23rd and developed a fever before returning to Hong Kong.
