Immigration Department arrests 10 people in illegal worker crackdown

The Immigration Department launched a citywide operation targeting illegal workers and arrested 10 suspects.
Immigration Department investigators raided more than 50 locations, including restaurants, massage parlours and fitness centres over the weekend.
Six women suspected to be illegal workers from the Philippines, Indonesia and the mainland were apprehended.
They encompass domestic helpers, tourists, imported workers and overstayers who allegedly engaged in jobs including dishwashers, waiters and massage worker.
Four restaurant operators suspected of hiring illegal workers were arrested as well.
All of them are Hong Kong residents.
