Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Pakistani leaders in Islamabad, the last stop of his South Asia tour.
Both parties made pledges to build an upgraded China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and deepen cooperation in various fields including industry, agriculture and mining.
Wang arrived at Pakistan's presidential palace to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari, then held talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He co-hosted the sixth round of China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue together with his counterpart Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
Hailing their ironclad relations, Wang said China is willing to work with Pakistan to implement the important consensus reached between the leaders, and prepare for the high-level interactions later this year.
The two sides agreed to enhance coordination in regional affairs and settle differences through dialogue.
