Tseung Kwan O tops China's rainfall rankings this year, as of Aug

With a cumulative rainfall of 2,397 millimetres, Hong Kong's Tseung Kwan O has so far topped the rainfall rankings nationwide this year.
The China Meteorological Administration wrote as of August 16th, Tseung Kwan O ranked first in the country while eight of the top ten other locations pummelled the hardest by downpours are in Guangdong Province. Only Huangshan, which ranks seventh, is located in Anhui Province.
According to the Hong Kong Observatory, the total precipitation in Tseung Kwan O reached 670 millimetres in July alone.
On August 5th, the Observatory issued the black rainstorm warning signal twice, with an open-air car park in the district severely flooded.
