Foreign Minister Wang Yi continued his visit to India with border talks again topping the agenda.
Wang met Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval for the 24th round of border talks.
Wang says the meeting between President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kazan, Russia in October last year provided impetus for the proper resolution of border issues.
Doval says relations between the two countries have shown "an upward trend," with a calm border situation between the two countries now, describing this dialogue as extremely important.
