Police in the Philippines have detained two suspects in connection with last week's fatal shooting of two Japanese men in Manila.
The two were shot by a man who approached them when they got out of a taxi last Friday night.
The shooter reportedly took the victims' belongings and fled on a motorcycle.
The police say they are looking into the relationship between the suspects and the victims as well as the suspects' motive.
In Manila, Japanese nationals have been assaulted in 21 robbery cases involving guns since October 2024.
