Beijing completes 2nd parade rehearsal marking 80th anniversary of victory against Japanese aggression

The military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War will be held on September 3rd in Beijing. The capital completed its second comprehensive rehearsal of the parade.

State media CCTV released the latest footage of the second drill, which was held from 5:30 p.m. on Saturday to 3:30 a.m. on Sunday in the Tiananmen area of Beijing, with about 40,000 people participating.

Compared with the first drill, this rehearsal is more comprehensive with the assembly and evacuation processes included.
