The strong monsoon signal has replaced the tropical cyclone No.1 signal at 8.20p.m. on Sunday.
The Hong Kong Observatory says that under the combined influence of the ridge of high pressure over southeastern China and the tropical depression, strong winds will occasionally blow offshore and on high ground
tonight and early tomorrow.
The outer rain band of the depression will continue to bring squally showers and thunderstorms to Hong Kong.
