After a nearly three-hour-long meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska, they held a joint press conference.
Trump said no deal has been reached, but "great progress" was made in Ukraine talks.
Putin said he and Trump have reached an ‘understanding’ on Ukraine, and warned Europe not to ‘torpedo the nascent progress’.
As they wrapped up their statements after the summit, Putin said to Trump in English, “Next time in Moscow.” Trump responded, “I could see it possibly happening.”
