A case of daylight theft -- involving three preteens. Three boys, aged 11 to 13, were arrested on suspicion of stealing collectible Labubu dolls from a claw machine in Tsuen Wan.
The trio, including a primary school student, stole four Labubu dolls worth about 1,000 dollars on July 31st.
Police say the three boys, as captured in surveillance footage, were wandering around the claw machine in a mall in Tsuen Wan in the afternoon that day.
One of them allegedly reached into the machine, tore up the plastic board and stole the dolls.
The three boys, studying in Primary 5 and Secondary 1, were apprehended on suspicion of theft and criminal damage in Tin Shui Wai on Monday.
Police say so far, 15 teenagers have been arrested in Tsuen Wan this year over similar cases of juvenile delinquency.
