HK weather remains fair at nightfall

The Standby Signal No. 1 is in effect and is expected to remain in force until at least 6 a.m.
With Typhoon Podul inching closer to the city, the Hong Kong Observatory says it will assess the need to upgrade the warning signal tomorrow morning.
After nightfall, the weather is still fair around the Wan Chai waterfront.
Typhoon Podul is now centred about 460 kilometres east-northeast of Hong Kong. It has weakened after making landfall in Taiwan.
It's moving across the Taiwan Strait towards Fujian and will sweep across inland Guangdong.
