The 15th National Games, hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, will adopt a real-name ticket registration system for all events.
Registration for the official online platform opens today, and the first batch of tickets will go on sale starting on the 28th of this month. Ticket prices range from 30 to 800 yuan.
With less than three months until the National Games, the organising committee has announced the ticket sales arrangements.
Over 5 million tickets will be available for the 32 competitive events and some mass events.
Ticket prices range from 30 yuan to 800 yuan, divided into nine tiers. Half of the tickets are priced below 100 yuan, 30 percent range from 100 to 300 yuan, and 20 percent range from 500 to 800 yuan.
Tickets for popular events are limited to a maximum of three per person, while tickets for standard events are limited to six per person.
Tickets will be sold in phases according to the competition schedule. The first batch, for football, basketball, and gymnastics, will go on sale on the 28th of this month.
Tickets can be purchased through the official website, app, venue ticket offices, and designated online and offline sales points. Cash and electronic payment are accepted.
Online tickets can be transferred with real names 24 hours before the event, and ID verification will be required upon entry.
Tickets are based on a real-name system. Spectators can register on the official platform starting today.
This requires providing their phone number and email address, along with identification documents such as their Hong Kong ID card or Home Return Permit. After logging in, they will be able to view the event schedule.
Registration and ticket purchases for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao events are all handled through the same system.
Hong Kong is hosting eight events with 400,000 tickets available, including full-day and half-day tickets.
The first four events-beach volleyball, men's handball, men's basketball under-22, and rugby sevens-will also go on sale on the 28th of this month. Tickets are also available at 11 China Travel Service (Hong Kong) sales outlets.
