Man arrested following police raids at 2 suspected drug warehouses

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trafficking dangerous drugs after police raided two suspected drug warehouses.
There, officers seized about 49 kilograms of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of around 37 million dollars.
Early Monday morning, police intercepted a man near a hut in San Tin, Lok Ma Chau. He was found to be holding two blocks of suspected cocaine, each weighing 1 kilogram.
The raid in the hut revealed 23 more bricks of suspected cocaine, leading to his arrest.
Police believe the man was lured by drug trafficking groups to manage the drug warehouses and help deliver the narcotics.
The suspect is scheduled to appear at the Fanling Magistrates' Court Wednesday.
