Gesar culture is Chinese intangible art treasure

The Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province is known as the hometown of Chinese Gesar culture.
In 2006, Gesar was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
In 2009, it was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, being hailed as "the Homeric epic of the East".
Recently, a cultural heritage parade was held in Maqin County.
