Multiple veteran politicians affiliated with the now-disbanded Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China were charged with inciting others to subvert state power.

They include former alliance chairman Lee Cheuk-yan, Albert Ho, and Chow Hang-tung.

They were brought to the High Court by prison van for a hearing. In court, it was revealed that Albert Ho has contacted the prosecution and intends to plead guilty. The trial has been adjourned to November 11th and is scheduled to take place at the West Kowloon Courts.

The charges relate to alleged incitement between July 1, 2020, and September 8, 2021.
