Foshan authorities say 90% chikungunya disease patients recovered

Authorities in Foshan City, Guangdong Province say more than 90 percent of chikungunya fever patients have recovered.
Authorities say the tally of new cases in a single day in Foshan dropped from a peak of 674 to 148 on Friday and infection control work of the mosquito-borne disease has shown "initial results."
They added no severe cases or deaths have been reported in Foshan during the latest outbreak.
