Cleaner died allegedly during work in Wong Tai Sin

A cleaner employed by a Highways Department contractor died while working in Wong Tai Sin.
The cleaner reportedly fainted on a pedestrian bridge near the Ma Chai Hang Recreation Playground.
The police were called at around 10 a.m. and told a 63-year-old had passed out. The Fire Services Department arrived at the scene and sent him to Caritas Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead.
The Highways Department expressed their condolences and says the contractor has reached out to the family of the deceased to provide necessary assistance.
