Thai and Cambodian officials are meeting in Malaysia for the first round of cross-border committee talks since a ceasefire was brokered after days of deadly border clashes in July.
The talks focus on ironing out details to avoid further attacks by both sides, while discussions on border territorial disputes are not on the agenda.
However, the propaganda war continues. Earlier this week, Cambodian foreign intelligence sources claimed Thailand is plotting to assassinate
Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Manet using guided munitions launched from light attack aircraft.
Bangkok has denied the claim and condemned the accusations as "ugly" and an example of disinformation warfare.
Meanwhile, Thailand has arrested what it claimed to be a Cambodian soldier who had served as Hun Sen's bodyguard.
Thai authorities said the man had been living with his Thai wife and allegedly spying on troop movements.
