4 dead, dozens missing in heavy rain in India's Himalayan state of Uttarakhand

Heavy rain and blocked roads have hampered rescue efforts in India's Himalayan state of Uttarakhand, a day after sudden flooding and landslides killed four people and left dozens missing.
Local television channels showed flood waters surging down a mountain and crashing into Dharali, a Himalayan mountain village.
The flood waters inundated homes, swept away roads and destroyed a local market.
Authorities said rescuers, including the Indian army and police, were searching for the missing.
This as India's weather agency has forecast more heavy rain in the region in the coming days.
