National Games torch unveiled

The torch for the 15th National Games and 12th National Paralympic Games to be held in November and December respectively, was officially unveiled.
Named "Blossom," the torch's design is said to embody the shared Lingnan cultural heritage of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, symbolising the "three regions as one family." The gold-coloured torch stands 76 cm tall and weighs 1.6 kg.
The main structure is created by 3D printing with a metal additive manufacturing process.
The torch's flame nozzle forms the wave-like shape of the Games' emblem, with the Guangdong kapok, Hong Kong bauhinia, and Macao lotus flowers intertwined, representing the innovative spirit of the Greater Bay Area.
The organiser says the inter-regional routes for the torch relay will likely involve low-altitude aircraft and artificial intelligence robots. Also unveiled is the official victory ceremony music and podium attire, as well as medals for the Paralympic Games.
