Police arrested two men who allegedlly pretended to be victims and transferred 8 million dollars from someone's bank saving account.

Last month, police received a report that a 67-year-old man who said he lost 8 million dollars in his bank saving account.

Investigation found a syndicate whose members used fabricated ID card in a way to impersonate a victim.

The suspects then headed to the bank as the victim, and changed the telephone number and phone banking passwords.

With that, they transferred 8 million dollars from the bank saving account to a jewelry shop.

Subsequently, they bought gold products with the same amount.

Two man aged 50 and 55 respectively were arrested last Friday, who claimed to be buddist monks.

Police say more arrests were possible.
