Investigation into crash in Washington reveals malfunction in chopper

NBC News reports an investigation into the crash between a Black Hawk helicopter and an American Air Lines regional passenger jet in Washington D.C. in January reveals a critical piece of equipment was malfunctioning in the chopper.

Sixty-seven people died in the accident, including three in the helicopter and 64 aboard the airliner.
