The Tsunami Warning Center of China's Ministry of Natural Resources has issued a yellow tsunami alert, stating that the tsunami triggered by the Kamchatka Peninsula earthquake is expected to have disastrous impacts on the coasts of Shanghai, Zhoushan, Taipei, Pingtung, Taitung, Hualien, and Yilan.
