Mass shooting at Nevada casino leaves 3 dead, several injured

In the U.S. state of Nevada, three people have died and several others injured by gunfire at a casino and resort in Reno.
The assailant was taken into custody and hospitalised in critical condition.
The shooting took place outside the Grand Sierra Resort around 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
A suspect, who has not been publicly identified, pulled out his gun at the casino's parking lot and pointed it at a group of bystanders.
Reports say the gun initially malfunctioned but once the man was able to make it operable, he fired multiple shots, causing two deaths.
The attacker then fled and opened fire at a casino security guard and someone driving by.
He was struck by gunfire after confronting with police officers.
