U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the White House Tuesday, as the two countries seek to strengthen security and economic ties amid rising tension in the Indo-Pacific region.
Following the meeting, Trump said he reached a trade agreement with President Marcos.
And the U.S. Justice Department wants to interview Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of helping the financier sexually abuse underage girls and is serving a lengthy prison sentence. (July 22)
