The near collision of a B52 and regional passenger jet under investigation

In the U.S. the Federal Aviation Administration and the air force are investigating the close call when a military B52 aircraft and a Delta Air Lines regional SkyWest jet carrying 80 people nearly collided over North Dakota. 

The military aircraft was performing a flyover for the North Dakota state fair at the time.
